This nailed the tension. It was creepy to be sitting there and hearing footsteps crunching through the snow, not knowing if you were going to have to turn the light off and hope, or if you'd have to turn the light on and try to keep the monsters at bay. That and the very wholesome introduction worked together to help make this a lot of fun.
Great work! Would love to see a game like this expanded on and given more dynamic interactions in the future for a bigger experience.
This game scared me so much I had to text one of the devs and cry to them about it. Very well done and also very fun to play! I hope you guys expand it and add new types of monsters and mechanics to survive. The only issue I had was with the resolution change, but the game is so little demanding (at least for now) that maybe you can just remove the option altogether. All in all very fun game!!!
Hi, this is Sadboijohn from SadSnakes.Inc. As the CEO of an up-and-coming esport/gaming organization, we like the support fellow up-and-coming gaming companies. But anyways here's my review for the demo so far.
The game is very interesting so far and am looking forward to seeing this advance to even an higher level. In my opinion all this game needs is a smoother feel to the gameplay. E.g. the camera movement felt kinda wonky, if you hold the A/D keys the camera just rushes through the different views and if there's a monster on the screen you could miss it entirely and lose. How to fix this? Maybe add a camera lock per phase? Another example is the flashlight, I feel like there's barely any necessity in the game so far for it. And I'll give one last example, which is the timer from when the monster appears till the moment you're safe . It felt like i could look away for a second or two and feel safe and sometimes i looked away for 5 seconds and he would still appear. And there was a bug where there would spawn no monsters which i fixed by restarting the game.
Anyways, wish you guys the best.

We noticed instantly that in this build you played we have left our debug commands still on cause the monsters are not supposed to spawn at the same time. We'll be sure to fix this as soon as possible.
Ok when I tell you I got scared playing this, I mean it, the sound and the steps seriouisly terrified me! Love the mixture of puzzle and horror, was an awesome game! At the point where the weather got very loud definitely made the game more scary, was a nice feature. Also handy how you do not have to look at one specific area to move your head back to looking down as majority games have that, the head spinning was a bit too fast caused me to miss the bad guys a few times but added to the scary vibes.
Agree there could be a slight more story to it would really draw more of a crowd, but overall enjoyed the gaming experience.
Awesome to hear that you got scared Kreeshee! Yes, we're planning on slowing down the head spinning and definitely adding a bit more to the story side.
Great to hear that you had a nice time with our game uwu
Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.
This was an interesting horror game about fishing and fear. I liked that the game involved fishing for clues and hints about the incoming danger that the main character is going to face and the usage of fishing to tell a story. I enjoyed playing the horror game and even though the game did not require me to spin around so much at the start of my playthrough, the idea of just not looking at the ghosts, not giving them any form of attention to stay safe, was something that I did not expect until the clues told me to do so, in order to stay safe. I loved that idea and am surprised that the creators made use of this idea to be the main game mechanic of the game. It would be cool if even more story-telling could be involved in letting players find out more about what happened to the ghosts. Also, it would be great if the game had a more interesting and attractive name to attract players to play the game.
Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
Thank you for the lovely comment and feedback, we're planning on updating this a bit in the future and are sure to incorporate especially what you said about the story telling in it. This was our first proper game so it means the world to us all that you took the time to play it.

Yep, it seems you had our broken dev build of the game that we fixed in our current build cause of the empty fishing.
But it's still so great you played it thru to the end! Greatly appreciated !
We're planning on updating this in the future.
